As the battlespace continues to evolve, warfighters are facing new challenges from peer threat systems. Building on more than 45 years of GPS experience, BAE Systems’ SABR™ receiver is the most advanced anti-jam beamforming system of its kind. Designed to provide users with accurate position, velocity, altitude, and timing data in high-threat environments, SABR demonstrates unrivalled performance in integrated weapons tests, raising the bar for all other hardened GPS operations.
SABR-M combines GPS receiver technology with advanced antenna electronics in a small, hardened package built to meet demanding performance requirements such as weapons applications. It is the most powerful integrated, anti-jam GPS receiver available, and is the first integrated M-Code receiver available for weapon systems. SABR-M will be fully qualified by the end of 2022.
SABR-M meets size, weight, power, cost, and thermal requirements for space-constrained military applications, including weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles. The compact receiver uses cutting-edge beamforming technology and nulling algorithms to strengthen GPS signal reception and counter threat signals, improving the accuracy of critical positioning, navigation, and timing data in high-risk environments.
Developed using technology from the combat-proven integrated GPS anti-jam system and DIGAR-300 airborne digital electronics, SABR-Y packs a punch in a simple, compact design. SABR-Y is forward-fit compatible with the new M-code capable SABR-M, offering versatility across several different weapons applications.
